The most powerful form of leverage we have is found in the power of our minds. The problem with leverage is that leverage can either work in your favor or against you depending on how you use it. If you want to retire young and retire rich, the first thing you must do is use the power of your brain to make you rich. When it comes to money, too many people use the power of their brain to make themselves poor.
One big difference between the rich and the poor is that poor people say ‘I can’t afford it’ more often than than the rich people. Poor people use poor words and those poor words create more poverty in the people, this is because your words become flesh. In this section you will learn the difference between rich words and poor words, fast words and slow words. You will find out how to change your financial future by changing the words you use and the way you think. If you can change your words to those of the rich, retiring young and retiring rich will be easy.
How To Become Rich and Retire Young
This section is for everyone the rich, the middle class, the average, the managing and the poor and for the avoidance of doubt if you earn less than $50,000 annually you are poor while the middle class earns above $50,000 up to $500,000 annually and the rich above $500,000 – $1,000,000 annually and finally the wealthy makes over $1,000,000 annually.
Having said that, you begin this journey by setting goals, not the usual new year resolution, those resolutions work for only 20 to 30 days into the new year and then you back off for the rest of the 330 days of the year. Your goal setting session this time has to be different and a little more than just setting goals. You are going to set goals that will change your lives by first changing your realities. Why don’t you start by writing a plan on how you can become financially free? You may have heard or read this many times already but this time you will stop talking, stop dreaming and start committing, write it down and once you write it down just know that you have to do it. Once you write it down, then be sure this program is going to support you on this journey.
NOTE: Instead of setting a simple one year goal, set a multi year goal (at least 10 year goal) its better you go for freedom. Now we know some of you will be thinking to yourself “But I don’t have much money” or “I am just starting out” or “All I can do now is try and survive for the next 6 months or even a year” or ” How can I be thinking about financial freedom when all I can think about right now is financial survival” or even “How can I retire early when I don’t even have money now”.
Well these are exactly those poor thoughts and words that have tied you down all these while and prevented you from rising financially, remember your words become flesh, take this as a fresh start and block that urge inside that doesn’t want you to commit to progress and just wants you to survive for the financial short term and not also think about the future.
We are not saying you will retire in the next one year. Its a Ten-Year-Project but you commence your retirement plan right now by writing down your goal, create a plan and then focus on the idea. Most people do not think about retiring until it’s too late… or they plan on retiring when they are sixty-five. Create a better plan now, don’t spend your life working just to pay bills.
The biggest challenge you have is to challenge your own self doubt and your laziness. It is your self doubt and your laziness that keep you small. It is your self doubt and laziness that deny you the life you want.
There is no one is your way except you and your doubts about you. It is very easy to stay broke. It is easy not to change. Most people choose to stay the same all their lives. If only you can take on your self doubt and your laziness, you will find the door to your freedom.
